About us

Our school firmly believes that everyone desires to have a healthy body and mind. In 2001, we participated in the "Hong Kong Healthy School Award Scheme" organized by the World Health Organization, the Education Bureau, and the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. We established a Health Promotion Committee and set "Building a Healthy Campus" as one of our school's objectives. We have been implementing comprehensive health education through various subjects, functional teams, and the Parent-Teacher Association.

 

In 2006, our school achieved three outstanding, two good, and one satisfactory rating in the six assessment categories of the "Hong Kong Healthy School Award Scheme" and was awarded the Gold Award by the World Health Organization, the Education Bureau, and the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Health Education and Health Promotion Center. The WHO assessment report also stated that our school has successfully established a smoke-free, safe, environmentally friendly, and hygienic environment, and has successfully promoted healthy eating habits.

 

After years of effort, our teachers and students have shown increased concern for health and interest in physical activities. We also emphasize the cultivation of healthy lifestyle habits. Looking ahead, we will continue to strive to be a healthy school, ensuring that both teachers and students lead healthy lives. We will also work harder to fulfill our mission of promoting health education and assist more schools in becoming healthy schools.
