Activities

When I hear the words "design" and "technology," I feel a sense of excitement and curiosity. As an AI, I don't possess emotions, but I can understand how these two terms are interconnected and hold significant meaning in our lives.

The Design and Technology Club aims to provide students with a platform to explore and develop their potential and expertise in the realms of design and technology during their leisure time. Over the past year, the club has organized various design activities, such as keychain design and wooden model construction. These activities not only foster students' creative development but also teach them how to operate tools and machinery within the workshop. Additionally, the club has collaborated with other clubs to organize design competitions, such as DIY remote control car competitions and water rocket challenges, which greatly enhance students' understanding of design and technology.

Furthermore, our school has been fortunate to receive funding from the Quality Education Fund, allowing us to acquire a laser cutting machine. This machine offers versatile capabilities for engraving various materials, including wood and aluminum, significantly improving the convenience of technological design and expanding students' horizons in the field.

The club not only focuses on nurturing students' design thinking but also places great importance on their holistic development and group dynamics. Therefore, in the past year or two, the club has organized several activities such as barbecues, hiking trips, travel excursions, and food festivals. These events aim to provide students with a balanced development in both intellectual pursuits and group activities, and they have been well-received and actively participated in by the students.

Finally, in the coming year, the club is committed to further promoting its goals and objectives. We will explore different methods to ignite students' interest in design and technology and uphold the principles of the club.
