- Course Introduction
Business and financial activities, such as work, consumption, savings, and investment, are a part of our daily lives. A business education provides students with knowledge and skills to effectively participate in business and financial activities in the future, enabling them to make wise decisions in the business realm. Additionally, students gain a thorough understanding of the business environment, allowing them not only to become part of the business world but also responsible citizens contributing to society. To provide opportunities for students to experience being consumers, investors, employees, and/or entrepreneurs.
Students can participate in various experiential programs. They have repeatedly participated in the Student Entrepreneurship Experience Program organized by the International Achievers Project (Hong Kong Division). Under the guidance of volunteer business advisors, students form their own companies and operate in the real market. The student companies go through processes such as selecting management teams, writing business plans, fundraising, producing and selling products or services, maintaining financial reports, holding shareholder meetings, and liquidating at the end of the program. A student-established company will set up a booth at the exhibition, putting their conceived business strategies into practice. Through this, they will learn practical market knowledge and sales skills while promoting their designed products to the public.
